Before I start giving you different ideas for your photo op with your favorite actor/actress; always, and really always ask the guest if they are fine with the pose you want to create. Because it’s a form of respect, they feel comfortable with the idea. And well wouldn’t you be the same, when someone asks you to do something.
Different ideas for your photo ops:
- casual standing next to each other
- back to back
- hug from behind
- holding hands and standing next to each other
- a tight hug
- a fake fight
- “casting” a spell/magic
- use a prop
- lie/sit down on the ground — but check if this is possible; is the photo space big enough, allows the camera man and the guest this as well
- dance pose
- ask the guest for a pose; some of them absolutely love it when they can decide a pose
- make both a crazy face
- make a heart with your hands or arms
- holding hands
- go in cosplay of the character the actor played
- something related to the movie or TV show
- bring a sign with a typical message for you and/or the guest
- a badguy/girl pose
- group hugs
- air hug or kiss
- do a selfie pose — remember don’t make an actual selfie, this is possible (if allowed) at the autgraph tables
- celebrate your birthday when it’s your birthday or when it’s near
- make a Christmas or Happy New Year “card”
Ask the actor to choose a pose. Most of them love to choose something they like to do together as well. And you will be even more sure the actor is feeling confident with it.
