The 5th edition of Enchanted which happened on the 1st- 2nd & 3rd of November 2024. It was time for me to go back to this convention after 5 years. Instead that the convention was held around the summer months like the 2nd one, it was now around the winter months. Which actually didn´t made any chance, because in the hotel the convention was happening the airconditioning was fully on..

For this edition of Enchanted, it changed a little for me. Because I participated as a steward during through the whole weekend. Stewards are several attendees/fans who volunteer to help out extra during the weekend. We could choose to do this during photo sessions, autograph sessions, during the party´s and the main hall. I and several other attendees/fans were selected for the photo sessions. Which means that we help out the photo team, that everything around photos, lining up etc work out well. Which we even could handle really well, even when there were last minute changes of an extra photo option on Sunday morning. The whole time schedule was re-made and we had to take care that this photo option with all other photo sessions started on time.

During those photo sessions we ofcourse had also photo moments ourselves. And because we were actually at work during those sessions, we could go ¨as first¨ in line to get our pictures. In that way we could easily and fast go back to our part of the stewarding work. This opportunity was incredible to do, there came so much love towards us also from the other attendees, which made every start of the day already a great one.

The rest of this weekend I experienced such relieved and grateful feelings. Also because of some in-between moments with a few actors who were there. Which happened during panels, autograph & photo sessions, during the meet and greet. But also when I was waiting in the main hall, there were some of those in-between moments. And for me those moments, make the actual moments even more precious as a memory.
