Summer is started and so the first summer convention for me is there; going to Paris for the First Responders Reunion part 5. A convention organized by the DreamIt organization, and this event is a convention for the hit series Station 19, Grey´s Anatomy & the 911 series.

So time to go to Paris on Friday the 13th, where I started the weekend with the book signing event from Stefania Spampinato. Together with Leco, she made a book called ¨From Rio to Sicilia¨ with several pictures of both places. The event was held in the center of Paris, in a small gallery. Which made it a very cozy atmosphere, where you could walk around to see several pictures as well. And of course picking up the book, which you could sign at the moment by Stefania & Leco.

From a cozy, nice and lovely book signing event, the convention started a few days later. On Saturday of course, but we stayed a little longer at the book signing.

As most of you know, most official conventions start with an opening ceremony, and so are the First Responders conventions. There´s only a little difference; between the welcome speech of the mainstage host, and the moment the guests enter the mainstage, there was some space for karaoke as well. The well-known songs from Station 19 & Greys´s Anatomy where played on a big screen and everyone started singing. This made the opening already much more cozier.

After the opening ceremony the daily progam started; photo session, autograph sessions, meet & greets, selfie moments, panels. And even 1-1 chats, karaoke, trivia and party´s. The karaoke, trivia & party´s, where an extra activity to do with Danielle Savre. Which where an absolute blast to do.

In this way I went all in, with going the first time to a convention of this organization. And it was an absolute blast, okay it was maybe around 35/36 degrees, because summer was started. But the fun and love only became more, with every second of the weekend. Each activity was beautiful in his own way, but also the in-between moments as lunch breaks, waiting for a panel or another activity. Feeling the love in another way.

Exploring this all as a first experience, definitely took care that there will come more conventions I will attend from the DreamIt organization.
