What do you do when it is your birthday? Most of the time you celebrate this with friends and family, right? Well that’s not what I have done in the weekend from 23 & 24 September 2023. Okay, it was with friends as well, but I wasn’t at home. I decided to go to Brussels, Belgium, and go to the Heroes Comic Con convention.

This convention has the same organization crew as the Dutch Comic Cons in The Netherlands, so I prepared myself already a little for what I could expect. But the one in Brussel is a little bigger, which is possible. Because the place of the convention also is a little bigger.

I said that the place is a little bigger, but also the space where the panels are, are in a different hall. We had to go outside to another building to join the panel(s). And actually that was a very good space for the panels; it was like a auditorium with a mainstage, in this way everyone could see very well the host with specific special guest.

With this all so good organized actually, I could celebrate my birthday with a lot of magical and wicked moments. A birthday that will stay in my heart for always!
