Normally this convention wasn´t planned to go to. But spontaneous messages and meet ups can change a lot. So on the 4th of May 2025, it was time to travel to Den Bosch to visit Comic Con Holland. Which is for me the first time I attend this convention, while from all conventions here in The Netherlands, the one in Den Bosch is the most closest for me.

Out of the train station it was a 15/20 minutes walk, and we arrived at the Brabanthallen where this convention is held. The entrance is nice ¨decorated¨ with banners and different stands with props from series and movies. So far already a nice entry.

The merchandise & artist stands where all in 1 hall. We were a little surpised of this, also because the artists stand through the actual merchandise stands. For us it was better when the artists stood more together, in that way you didn´t had to search to all of them. After all there where different nice stands, where everyone can get something they like.

In the guest hall it was crowded, also because it wasn´t that clear where a photosession or autograph line started. Or where even a specific guest sat, to sign a photo or another object. Up here we also managed it to figure out, where we needed to go and literally found our way through it.

A special ending:

We had lots of fun and could get what we wanted and/or what we like a lot to have. And because we went on the 4th of May, we had a kind of special ending. The 4th of May is in The Netherlands well-known as Dodenherdenkingsdag (Remembrance Day), where always around 8.00 pm the whole country is silence for 2 minutes to remember the victims of World War I & II. When this happened at this day, we where at the train station, where also all trains and busses have those 2 minutes of silence and won´t ride. Experiencing this at a more public place is really special to experience as well.In this way we can end a fun and lovely day with a little special side as well.
