Summer edition June 2023

Not a spring edition around the month March/April, but the first summer edition from Dutch Comic Con is here. And the biggest question for everyone was ‘is there enough air or an airco in all the halls’. And I can say you, they managed this very well. Outside the weather had a warm temperature, but inside the temperature was good in control. So a spring or summer edition, it actually doesn’t make a difference when, because both editions create a lot of magical moments.

Especially when one of your teenage dreams come true, there’s always that one person you have a crush on during a movie and/or tv show. For me it’s Ben Barnes, who is well know as his rol in the Narnia movies as Prince Caspian, but also a big entrance and leading character has in the TV show Shadow and Bone. Next of him, was great guest Bob Morley well known from The 100 also there at the first summer edition of Dutch Comic Con.

Winter edition November 2023

Since the last few editions I knew that you have to be fast with getting your entry ticket(s), so I could manage it to get my weekend entry ticket right on time. The special guests weren’t announced yet, and then the announcements are starting.

One of the first guests was Tasya Teles, who we know as Echo from The 100, which already made me very enthousiast. Tasya is another one of my favorite actresses and it already would become a great edition. And 2 weeks before this winter edition would happen, Lana Parrilla was announcend. Which is a special one, because it was exactly 5 years she was also at a Dutch Comic Con edition. Especially if you know that the organization has this rule that after an actor was there as guest, they have to wait for 5 years until they can be invited back again. So extra special that Lana is back a guest at this winter edition.
