When it’s summer most people take a vacation somewhere to the sun for 1 or several weeks. But that’s not what I have done. In-between work shifts, I decided to go a weekend to Köln, Germany. Not just for a vacation, but for the CCXP convention.

I’ve been several times already in Germany, but this is the first convention outside The Netherlands. There aren’t that much differences with the Dutch conventions, except the language ofcourse. Even with Dutch conventions, there’s a lot in the English language ofcourse. Which is more then normal, and this is also at the convention in Köln. For the rest not that much difference, there’s this same kind of vibe with Dealer Hall, Game Hall, Artist Hall and the Guest Hall. With the Guest Hall, this convention had a seperate hall where the panels for the guests. Which took care there wasn’t a lot of background nois and everyone could hear the guests very well.

Next of that I was several times in the Guest Hall, I also walked through the other halls. The atmosphere they have created in all Halls took care you got more into the magical experience. In that way young and old can have a great day or weekend. There’s for everyone something to do, see and/or buy
